Friendship Throw Quilt - Throw Size in Moda Grunge! from Busy Hands Quilts

I have a Throw size Friendship quilt to share today!  I'm excited to get this one posted on the blog because it's made with one of my favorite blocks in my favorite color!

Three Sizes!


The Friendship quilt pattern includes three sizes - Throw, Twin XL, and Queen.  The Baby and King didn't work out mathematically while preserving the symmetry of the design.

Hampton Court Quilt Pattern - Throw Quilt in Garden Delights! from Busy Hands Quilts

Today I'm sharing a Hampton Court quilt in the Throw size!  This quilt was finished about five months ago, and I didn't get around to blogging about it.  Today is the day!

The Hampton Court quilt design is based on King Henry VIII's castle from the 1500s.  The design, made from varying brick sizes, can be found in the brickwork of the exterior of the castle.

Prism Baby Quilt in Through the Woods! from Busy Hands Quilts

Today I'm sharing another Prism quilt with you - this one in the Baby size!

Prism includes 5 sizes - Baby, Throw, Twin, Queen, and King.  The pattern includes some tips on directional fabrics since the quilt is assembled in quadrants, and you want to keep your owls all facing the same direction.  This is the quilt I made to test the pattern, and I hadn't considered directional prints until some of my owls ended up upside down!  :(

Nantucket Quilt Pattern - The All Blues One! from Busy Hands Quilts

Today I'm sharing this all blue Nantucket quilt.  It turned out even better than I imagined it would.

Nantucket is available in the Busy Hands Quilts pattern shop.


Nantucket was so named because the design reminded me of life rings, which reminded me of the sea, which reminded me of Nantucket, a place I've never been, but have sailed past, unbeknownst to me, on a cruise in 2018.  The Harry and Alice version of Nantucket reflects the life rings design even more, to me.
